On CreativityAn Expression of InspirationWherefrom is inspiration and creativity derived? From the mind? In the thoughts one has? Often, we mistake the thoughts we have as the source for our inspiration and creativity. This is the tendency of the mind, in attempting to understand its presumed attributes, it ascribes unto itself all that is experienced. Inspiration and creativity exist in the mind as experience and evaluation. That which underlies inspiration and creativity exists separately from the mind. Moreover, that which underlies inspiration and creativity exists irrespective of our ability to draw our Awareness to it. Once that which underlies inspiration and creativity dawns in our Awareness, no matter how momentary, we are It. Thence, the mind immediately attempts to understand It using itself in its conditoning, its thoughts, thereby creating experience, mindful experience. Eureka! It, the source of inspiration and creativity is perceivable in the stillness that exists between thoughts. Proceeding thoughts merely attempt to give It form and thus name. Once the mind has taken root in the experience of inspiration and creativity, it is rationalized that the experience in totality are the thoughts and therefore, the possessor and creator of the thoughts is the origin of such inspiration and creativity.
